Not WHAT, but WHERE.

More exciting than what I got for Christmas is where I spent it.

This afternoon, I was in the process of cutting some squash, and being.. me.. I wasn't using a cutting board.. or a table.. but rather.. my lap.. and the sharp, brand spanking new wiltshire paring knife that I bought my mom for Christmas. I was about halfway through when the knife slipped and gouged a big, inch-by-inch piece out of my thigh on the inside. Half a second later, as I dropped the squash and sat there with my hand covering my leg, daddy says "Don't cut yourself."

Oh hindsight is 20/20. Dad couldn't decide whether it needed stitches or not, so he called mom who was at work and she rushed home. Also, dad had no gas in his truck to drive me to a hospital. So mom gets here, we eat supper, and then load into the car and go to the Woodstock hospital where the receptionist laughs at me, and the doctor laughs at me, while they pop about six stitches into me, and I don't feel bad about making someone's Christmas, who has to be working, a little better.

Anyways, more updates on Christmas later! SNL now! :)
